    Dear Karen and Kev

I can’t tell you how much I enjoy reading about your adventures. Even though you have had a few low moments, most of the things you have experienced seem to be overwhelmingly positive. I really envy you but don’t think I could do it myself!

This will make you laugh (maybe) … Sprout was racing at Gedinne at the weekend, the bike seized and spat him off – he is now in plaster from his hip to his foot having fractured his tibia – nurse Julie I am not!

Looking forward to your next installments.

    Love
    Julie

Hi Guys, it was great to meet up with you in Tsetserleg. Glad to hear you’ve made it to Ulan-Ude OK. We stayed a few more days at the Fairfield Cafe before heading off to the Gobi and have now reached UB. Put a crack in our fuel tank when we couldn’t find a way to get over a hill other than through the gorge itself, and our water pump has developed an incurable disease, so we are holed up in another guesthouse (Oasis) here in UB. Lots of other overlanders coming and going here and they don’t mind people doing repairs in the car park. Just as well!! Hope to be on the move again in a couple of days. All the best for the rest of your trip. Will read more of your blogs and photos later.
