Current news- We have travelled to other end of Alaska and are now in Homer exploring for a little while. Our plan next is to head back through Anchorage then on to Valdez.
Below is the continuation of our Kuala Lumpur round up.We apologise for the lack of details on the blog but it is a way of catching up a bit and after all we were only tourists there.
Here are some street scenes from China town.
The Petronas towers from the outside were more beautiful lit up at night but the inside was spectacular.
The central market.
Architecture throughout the city.
Street vendors.
City life.
Different modes of transport.
One thing that made us laugh was the moped riders had their jackets on backwards, we presume because it was too hot to wear them normally but they needed to stop the draft as they rode.
Our rainforest hostel in the heart of the city. Highly recommended, good friendly people, clean facilities.
To sum up Kuala Lumpur great city, easy to get around and some good tourist sights to see. The only down side, the humidity, you break out in sweat just thinking about walking around.
Kuala Lumpur airport was very modern and Malaysian airlines one of the best we’ve travelled by. It even had a tail cam so we could watch our take off and landing.
Back on English soil.
Next up – Our brief trip home then on to Canada to meet our bike.

Oh no, the humidity was almost unbearable at times but a great place none the less.
Glad you can still find us on the old atlas.
